The Zoo’s mission is to save animals every day, and no two species illustrate this commitment more powerfully than the critically endangered California condor and peninsular pronghorn. Explore our condor facility, which is normally closed to the public, and meet the dedicated keepers there. Then, tour the peninsular pronghorn barn for an up-close experience with our herd. Tour is not ADA accessible. 75 minutes.
Zoo membership or separate admission ticket must be purchased in addition to the tour fee.
Must be age seven (7) or older to participate.
Participants must arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled tour time to check-in in front of the membership booth.
The Los Angeles Zoo welcomes all guests, and we strive to create programs inclusive to all. We are able to provide sign language interpreters and audio assistive devices (with five or more business days' notice) as well as wheelchair-accessible carts, along with other accommodations upon request. If a member of your group has an accommodation request, please let us know.
Condors & Conservation are scheduled on Sundays.
Schedules may be subject to change.
